Community Climate Forums
Launching in early 2014, the Community Climate Forums are an opportunity for grassroots sustainability organizations and residents to meet with City staff and leadership on a quarterly basis for in-depth conversations on Climate Action Plan implementation activities and other city- or community-led environmental initiatives.
The second Community Climate Forum will be:
Monday, 5/5 @ 5 - 7 pm
Bertha Knight Landes Room, Seattle City Hall - 600 4th Ave
Light Cinco de Mayo dinner will be provided. RSVPs requested.
How do we measure sustainability?
How can we get the most from the data we collect?
Which metrics tell us if we're moving in the right direction?
On 5/5 @ 5 pm, join Mayor Ed Murray, Councilmember Mike O'Brien, City staff, and the community for our 2nd Community Climate Forum. Mayor Murray will present Moving the Needle, Seattle's environmental progress report. Then Councilmember O'Brien will facilitate a community conversation with Peter Steinbrueck, Joel Sisolak, and you about neighborhood-level sustainability indicators.
