Programs for Families and Providers
Early Childhood Health Services
The City contracts with Public Health - Seattle & King County to provide the following services to agencies serving more than 3,500 children through the Child Care Assistance Program, Free and low-cost preschool programs for three- and four-year-olds (ECEAP and Step Ahead) and school-based after-school programs and Parks and Recreation after-school sites.
Interagency Health
The Families and Education Levy funds health care services for the Interagency Academy, an alternative high school with multiple locations throughout Seattle.
Nurse Family Partnership for First-Time, Low-Income Mothers
Nurse Family Partnership, administered by Public Health - Seattle & King County, promotes healthy child development by providing public health nursing services to low-income women who are pregnant for the first time.
Oral Health
Levy Oral Health investments are intended to contribute towards achieving better academic outcomes for students in schools with other Levy health programs in place.
School-Based Health Centers
The Families and Education Levy funds school-based health centers.
School District Health Services
We invest with Seattle Public Schools to provide additional health services that support academic success.
