Life Sciences and Technology
- The Alliance of Angels is a regionally-focused group of individual investors and representatives of investment corporations. It reviews business plans submitted by new technology companies and acts as a "matchmaker" for young technology companies and interested investors.
- Directory of Seattle-area Internet Companies
- MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest, sponsored by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a not-for-profit public service organization founded in 1978 to promote and strengthen the process of starting and growing companies that have a strong technology orientation.
- The Technology Alliance was founded in 1996 as a statewide consortium of technology-based businesses, Washington's leading research institutions, and high tech trade associations. Its programs, research, and initiatives support three drivers of a healthy technology-based economy: research, education & entrepreneurship.
- Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association (WBBA) is a not-for-profit association of Washington state biotechnology and biomedical companies, research firms and related organizations.
- Washington Software Alliance (WSA) - Founded in 1984, the WSA is the oldest and largest statewide technology trade association.
- Washington Technology Center links Washington companies with the scientific and engineering resources of the state's universities.

Economic Development Organizations
- Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) works towards the revitalization and development of Downtown Seattle into a thriving, world-class destination and business center.
- enterpriseSeattle is a public/private partnership established to promote the benefits of establishing, expanding, or relocating businesses in King County and Seattle.
- The Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce served as an advocate for business, a community partner, a resource for business, and is dedicated to serving both the needs of their members and the economic development needs of the broader community.
- Port of Seattle is the authority that manages international trade and travel in King County. Port of Seattle is divided into three operating divisions, the aviation division (which operates Seattle-Tacoma International Airport), the seaport division (which operates the marine terminals), and the economic development division.
- The Prosperity Partnership is a coalition of government, business, labor, and community leaders from King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish counties that is developing a strategy and taking critically important action toward a shared goal: long-term economic prosperity and 100,000 new jobs for the central Puget Sound region.
- The Puget Sound Regional Council is an association of cities, towns, counties, ports, and state agencies that serves as a forum for developing policies and making decisions about regional growth and transportation issues in the four-county central Puget Sound region.
- The Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle is a collaboration of the Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, Metropolitan King County Government, Snohomish County Government, Pierce County Government, City of Seattle, Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and union leadership to promote the trade interests of this region in domestic and international markets.

Environmental Assistance for Business
- The Brownfields Program offers technical and financial assistance to help small businesses and property owners assess contamination and develop cleanup plans that enable contaminated property to be redeveloped and become productive.
- Business and Industry Resource Venture (BIRV) provides free information, assistance and referrals to help Seattle businesses improve their environmental performance.
- Environment Extension Service is a service sponsored by the Environmental Coalition of South Seattle and provides technical assistance to businesses on conservation, pollution prevention and cleanup of contaminated land.
Small Business
- Cascadia Revolving Fund offers small business loans and technical assistance to low-income entrepreneurs.
- Community Capital Development (CCD) provides technical and financial assistance, business development and expansion services, and policy advice to women, minority and low-income entrepreneurs that might otherwise have difficulty obtaining conventional bank financing. CCD provides small business loans through the Seattle Economic Development Fund (SEDF).
- Seattle Chapter of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives Association) provides no-fee mentoring and business counseling to small businesses.
- The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) offers small business loans. The Seattle district office has a Business Enterprise Center resource library.
- Washington CASH provides training and lending services for low-income women, people with disabilities, immigrants and other low-income individuals to help them start or expand their own businesses.
