Employment Opportunities at OEDAssistant Director of Finance Closing Date: May 22, 2012 The Office of Economic Development's (OED) finance team is responsible for designing and maintaining internal systems and processes to support OED’s mission and outcomes. This includes providing financial analysis, financial reporting, and developing budgets to efficiently deploy OED’s resources in alignment with departmental priorities. The finance team ensures that OED’s investments achieve maximum value. This position supports OED’s Director of Finance and Operations in the development of fiscal policies, program budgets, and financial oversight of OED’s budget. This position will develop budget proposals for the Mayor and City Council documenting the investment strategies of OED programs. It will establish procedures for financial accountability over Federal, State and Local programs including the development and maintenance of fiscal management and reporting systems, as well as oversight of contracting systems and procedures for OED’s direct service programs.
