Summary
of Changes |
The sketches used for the new exam have not been revised, and they
are essentially the same as those used previously.
- The format has
been changed from the essay type to a multiple-choice type.
- Questions will
be selected at random from a database of questions.
- Questions have
been added to cover alternatives to Chlorofluorocarbon gasses.
- Questions have
been added to cover more safety and operational aspects.
- The number of
questions on the test has been brought from 50 to about 75. The
intention is to test candidates on a wider variety of issues.
At this time
there are no plans to change the oral exam (an oral exam is required
for the journeyman license), however, this option is still being
evaluated. |
