Public Engagement Overview

A stadium district advisory group of diverse stakeholders met to guide the project between April and October of 2013. We conducted briefings for interested organizations and people. In November of 2013 we released our recommendations and invited public comment through social media, this website, and a short survey. We are still interested in receiving comments through the survey and by e-mail, to geoffrey.wentlandt@seattle.gov, even though the formal comment period is over.

The next step is for the City Council to consider whether to adopt ideas from the Stadium District Study into the City's Comprehensive Plan. In February of 2014 the Seattle City Council will take comments and hold a public hearing on proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments, including the Stadium District Study recommendations.
