We are updating our Living Building and Seattle Deep Green Pilot Program. The Living Building and Deep Green Pilot allows you to request additional departures from the Seattle Land Use Code through Design Review for buildings attempting to meet the Living Building Challenge or Seattle Deep Green (see the Living Building and Seattle Deep Green Pilot permit incentives for more details).
Our goal is to further promote and enhance the development of new green buildings authorized under this pilot program while achieving long-term compliance with program requirements. To help inform changes to the pilot program, a new Technical Advisory Group (TAG), appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council for a two-year term, will work with us throughout the update process.
