Duwamish Industrial Lands Study

We are partnering with the community and stakeholders to look at how the city can protect and support industry and port operations.

Georgetown Neighborhood

We are holding a Georgetown community meeting on November 5 at the Seattle Central College-Georgetown Campus (6:00 p.m., Room C122), that will allow various city departments to hear from the community. This will help the City evaluate the proposed comprehensive plan amendments related to industrial lands, and how they would affect Georgetown.

The input will be shared with the Mayor and City Council, and we will report back to the community on what we heard. For more information, contact Aly Pennucci at or (206) 386-9132.

Public Engagement Overview

A group of diverse stakeholders will advise us throughout the duration of the study. We will conduct briefings for interested organizations and one-on-one interviews. Additionally, we will set up larger community meetings. All materials, reports, and recommendations are posted on this website. We’ll also send updates about the project on Facebook and Twitter.

Stakeholder Advisory Group

The Duwamish Industrial Lands Advisory Group will meet monthly between February and August of 2013. You are welcome to observe meetings and give your input during a specific time on the agenda.
