Capitol Hill Station Sites Planning

We are partnering with the Capitol Hill community to influence and shape the redevelopment around Sound Transit's light rail station at Broadway and E. Denny Way.

What’s Happening Now?

Sound Transit is reviewing proposals for the redevelopment around their light rail station in Capitol Hill. Sound Transit expects to select the final proposals by mid-2015.

One of the sites will be an affordable housing development that will likely be funded in part by the Office of Housing. Other community priorities for the sites include space for the Broadway Farmers Market, cultural center space, neighborhood retail, a public plaza, and pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly streets and connections.
