Ballard Urban Design

Our planning effort will help Ballard address the changes it's had over the past 10 years.
Partnering with the community to identify a vision that will shape growth and guide new development in Ballard.

Get Involved

Now is your opportunity to tell us your priorities for transportation and preferred station locations for future high capacity transit, and to review land use and urban design recommendations. Here’s how you can provide your feedback:

1. Learn more about Move Ballard and email comments regarding transportation improvements and potential transit stations in Ballard to the SDOT Project Team.

2. Review the Draft Land Use and Urban Design Design Recommendation and comment by sending an email to David Goldberg.

Community Partnerships

Ballard Partnership for Smart Growth's Urban Design and Transportation (UDaT) Committee is working with us as an advisory committee for the Ballard Urban Design Framework. They provide consistent review and advice on the direction of this project and its products. The advisory committee meets on the first Thursday of each month from 4 to 5:30 p.m. You may attend the meetings as an observer and there is a comment period at the end of each meeting. Find the latest UDaT meeting notes and documents on our Project Documents page. Please contact us for the location and date of the next meeting.
