Related Codes & Regulations

The various codes and regulations administrated by the DPD Site Development Team establish criteria for review, analysis and inspection of all development. They include, but are not limited to: grading, stormwater, Environmentally Critrical Areas (ECA) review, temporary erosion and sedimentary control (TESC), drainage water quality, first ground disturbance inspection, side sewers and special inspection.

Getting Printed Copies of Regulations
Printed versions of the Seattle Municipal Code and DPD Director's Rules may be purchased from the DPD Public Resource Center. Due to the considerable length of these documents, a fee is charged to cover production costs (see Codes & Publications pricelist). The City of Seattle Standard Plans and Standard Specifications is available in print at Seattle Public Utilities, The Vault, Suite 4700, 700 Fifth Ave., (206) 684-5132.
