Design Review Program
Applicant's Toolbox: Sample Design Proposal Packets

Early Design Guidance Packet | Recommendation Packet

An applicant must prepare an 11" x 17" design proposal packet to distribute to the Design Review Board in advance of a review. The project planner will tell the applicant how far in advance of the meeting the packet should be prepared and to whom it should be sent.

Design proposal packets are required for both Early Design Guidance reviews and Recommendation reviews. The former is prepared for reviews that occur before the applicant's Master Use Permit (MUP) is submitted, the latter is prepared for reviews after the MUP has been submitted.

An Early Design Guidance packet is more conceptual and shows at least 3 concepts the applicant has explored; a Recommendation packet is more detailed and shows design drawings of the project.

More design proposal packets can be found in the archive.
