Harbor Steps Pedestrian Environment University Steet and Western Avenue Downtown Seattle

This multi-level, downtown public open space functions as a pedestrian walkway, hillclimb and gathering place. It is well-used in all seasons because of its location, views of the waterfront and good solar exposure. Featuring amenities such as a central fountain and stairs that serve double duty as seats and large planters, this urban path is truly pedestrian-friendly.
