- Mayor Unveils Waterfront Plan
On Wednesday, July 26, Mayor Nickels transmitted a resolution to City Council that would approve his recommended Concept Plan for the Central Waterfront. - Waterfront Open House

- Waterfront Partners Group Public Working Session
July 8, 2005.Working sessions are open to the public (more details). - Waterfront Open Houses
Three open houses (held in Downtown, Interbay, and W. Seattle) to update the public on the waterfront planning process and take public comments. Open houses were held: June 21, 2005, June 22, 2005, and June 23, 2005. 2004
- Charette Presentation & Exhibit
Teams celebrated and the exciting "Visioning Charette" design concepts were presented on April 7, 2004 (see summary and materials). - Visioning Charrette
Over 300 planning professionals, students, community advocates and others from around the world attended an intensive public workshop, called the "Visioning Charrette," on February 27-28, 2004 (see charrette brief). Participants divided into 22 teams to collaborate on visions for Seattle's central waterfront, developing design concepts that identify major uses, public spaces, and other key elements to be located on the waterfront. Their work will inform development of a waterfront concept plan for consideration by Seattle City Council.
2003
- Waterfront Forum 2
The Seattle Design and Planning Commissions sponsored the second public forum to envision the future of the Central Waterfront on November 7, 2003. (view agenda, workbook and summary of Forum 2) - Waterfront Discussion Groups
Five discussion groups were held in September and October, 2003. The discussion groups brought together experts to discuss key issues, data and other information relevant to planning for the future of the Waterfront. Summaries of the five discussion groups may be viewed here. - Waterfront Forum 1
