Plumbing permits are approved onsite by Seattle/King County Health Department staff. 

Plumbing inspectors are available to review drawings and answer questions at the King County Environmental Health Services Building on 401 5th Avenue, Suite 1100. No appointment is necessary and service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Permit application hours are Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
