1 - Q. Where can I find enforcement information?
A. If you have an enforcement question or concern, see our Enforcement website, or call DPD’s enforcement staff at (206) 615-0808.

2 - Q. How do I report a problem?
A. If events are happening which you do not believe to be consistent with the permitted use, you should call DPD's inspections personnel at (206) 615-0808 or find more information about DPD Code Enforcement at our Enforcement website.

3 - Q. How do I file a complaint?
A.  If you want to report a possible code violation, visit our Code Compliance website to learn more or simply click here to learn how to file a complaint or call us at (206) 615-0808.

4 - Q. My neighbor is encroaching on my property - what do I do?
A.  In most circumstances, DPD is unable to arbitrate boundary disputes and encroachments. These issues generally have to be pursued privately in a court of law.

However, if there is construction or excavation occurring on a property adjacent to yours, and you believe that the work is unpermitted or violates the terms and conditions of an active permit, please file a complaint online here or call us at (206) 615-0808.

5 - Q. I have a disagreement with the assigned land use planner on the review of my project. How do I get it resolved?
A. To resolve a disagreement with a project reviewer on a Master Use Permit application, see our resolution process.

6 - Q. How do I appeal my land use decision?
A. Appeals of DPD decisions on Master Use Permit applications are filed with the Office of the Hearing Examiner. For information on how to file an appeal, please visit the Office of the Hearing Examiner website.
