Yes. What about City contractors? Yes, contractors may serve on the Commission. Do I have to live inside the City of Seattle to apply? No, but you should be able to demonstrate some work, volunteer, or service connection to the City, or a strong interest in disability issues. Do I have to be a person with a disability to apply? No, but you should be able to demonstrate a strong interest or expertise in issues concerning people with disabilities. How long is the term of service? Two years. How can I learn more?
