Wireless Internet Access Now Available to Permit Applicants in ASC
April 12, 2006

No strings attached: Visitors to DPD's Applicant Services Center can now access a free wireless Internet connection with their laptop computers (both PC and Mac). Instructions for using the wireless connection are available in the ASC.

The wireless service is part of a new City-wide pilot project. You can help DPD and the other City of Seattle participants hone the system by trying out the service then filling out a survey. The surveys and the silver box we’re using to collect them are located in the central waiting area of the ASC.

As a pilot project, this is a work in progress. With the help of our customers, we intend to fine-tune the system and make it a useful, helpful and smooth service for visitors to the ASC.

Need a Permit?

Projects in Seattle that involve new or changed uses of property, construction or renovation, or other building and design elements usually require a permit from DPD.

To determine if a permit is required for your project, call the ASC at (206) 684-8850 or visit them (see location and hours).
