As a result of the recent implementation of DPD’s new permit tracking system, Hansen, the Applicant Services Center (ASC) has altered the way in which project numbers are assigned, as well as when and how legal description and development site parcel reviews (also known as “Addressing”) are completed.
The ASC is now able to create and track information under a number, known as an Application/Permit (A/P) number, from a customer’s earliest contact with DPD through final inspection and approval of the built project. A/P numbers may be generated prior to the Addressing review. However, the Addressing review is still required prior to scheduling an intake appointment and will be conducted in response to submission of an Address/Records Worksheet.
Further, due to the change in the nature and timing of the review, we will no longer conduct Addressing reviews on a walk-in basis. We believe that this change will allow DPD to achieve and maintain desirable performance targets and align the process more closely with the Pre-Application Site Visit process.
