Survey to Assess Tenants' Private and Shared Space Needs
Posted March 24, 2004

Making sure that new apartments and condominiums provide the right mix of amenities to serve the growing residential population in and around Seattle's neighborhood business districts is the focus of a current survey by the City.

City Planning staff at the Department of Planning and Development (DPD) are analyzing the availability of open space and other onsite amenities in residential and mixed-use buildings. They are also looking at how these amenities are currently used.

Residential amenities include features like private decks and balconies, rooftop decks and gardens, fitness centers, and party/community rooms.

We encourage you to share your opinions on this topic with DPD by taking the residential amenities survey today. (See box at right.)
