DCLU staff members
are bringing a broad array of services to Seattle's various neighborhoods,
offering free Home Improvement Workshops where homeowners can
get their questions answered in one-on-one consultations.
The permit specialists, planners, reviewers and inspectors
that answer questions at these popular events provide citizens
with good advice and information regarding zoning, permits,
building, electrical work, and plumbing. At this year's Phinney
Home Design and Remodel fair, staff assisted over 200 homeowners
with their questions.
One of the smaller, community-center workshops may be on the
calendar for your neighborhood. Check out our current
