Land Use Permits
ECA (Environmentally Critical Areas)

To submit a land use application that includes an environmentally critical area, you'll need to submit or refer to the following information:

  • Environmentally Critical Areas Code Website
  • Critical area exemption approval (CAM 327, ECA Exemptions and Modifications to Submittal Requirements)
  • Environmentally Critical Areas Exception form (attached to CAM 328, ECA Exceptions)
  • Environmentally Critical Areas Administrative Conditional Use for Clustered Housing form (attached to CAM 329, ECA Administrative Conditional Use Permit—Application Instructions and Submittal Requirements)
  • Environmentally Critical Areas Yard and Setback Variance (form attached to CAM 330, ECAs—Yard & Setback, Steep Slope and Wetland Buffer Variances)
  • CAM 331, Environmentally Critical Areas—Tree and Vegetation Overview
  • CAM 331A, Environmentally Critical Areas: Vegetation Restoration 
  • CAM 331B, Environmentally Critical Areas: Hazard Trees
