The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS)
provides satellite services in the Court Resource Center three days a week. DSHS is available every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Services are available on the 2nd Floor of the Seattle Justice Center
, Room 235.
DSHS primarily serves the homeless and individuals who live in the Belltown catchment area<, but will assist all customers to begin the application process. They offer assistance to the public for large range of services such as:
- Food Stamp Assistance
- Cash and Medical Help for Individuals Unable to Work - General Assistance Unemployable (GAU)
- Help with Health Care and Medical Expenses - Medical Assistance Programs
- Getting Drug or Alcohol Treatment - Alcohol and Drug Addict Treatment and Support Act Program (ADATSA)
- Help with Cash and Medical for Families with Children - Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
