Stolen Identity and Seattle Municipal Court

If you find that you have Seattle Municipal Court charges pending as a result of having your identity stolen, the City Attorney's office has an information sheet offering guidelines on how to proceed in the Court.

They have also provided a form for you to complete to assist you in responding to the charges.

The forms are provided by the Court as a guide. You should contact the Criminal Division of the City Attorneys office at 206-684-7757 to initiate the process.

It is important to note that you should respond to all Court summons in your effort to clear your record of fraudulent charges. If you fail to respond, it becomes all the more difficult to prove who the responsible party really is.
