SEATTLE CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE MEETING IN BITTER LAKE
Councilmember Sally Clark to hold Economic Development and Neighborhoods Committee Meeting at Bitter Lake Community Center

Seattle — As part of her effort to further link Seattle’s neighborhoods to the City government, Councilmember Sally J. Clark will chair the next meeting of the City Council’s Economic Development and Neighborhoods Committee on Thursday evening, April 19, 2007 at 6pm in the Bitter Lake Community Center located at 13035 Linden Avenue North

Presentations will be made by Stella Chao, Director of the Department of Neighborhoods, and Northwest Neighborhood District Coordinator Beth Pflug. The committee will also hold a discussion regarding the effects of Seattle’s nightlife bars and clubs upon neighborhoods. Community members are encouraged to provide comments to councilmembers during the public testimony portion of the meeting, shortly after 6pm.

Clark’s Economic Development & Neighborhoods Committee meets twice a month. The first meeting of the month happens first Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. in Council Chambers downtown. The second meeting of every month happens third Thursdays, 6 p.m., in a neighborhood location. More information can be found at the website of Councilmember Sally Clark: seattle.gov/council/clark.
