City Council receives draft executive summary of the SR 520 report
Public discussion soon to follow
SEATTLE – This afternoon Seattle City Councilmembers received the draft executive summary
and preliminary recommendations for the SR 520 bridge from consultants Nelson\Nygaard. The full preliminary draft report will be posted tomorrow, April 1, at approximately 3:00 p.m.
The full Council briefing and discussion will be held on April 5, at 9:30 a.m., with a public comment meeting to follow on April 8, at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers.

The Seattle City Council hired Nelson\Nygaard to conduct a thorough review of connecting the SR 520 bridge replacement with Seattle. They were charged with exploring if key transit connections can be improved, whether better pedestrian and bike paths are possible and how best to lessen neighborhood impacts.
