The items above represent a comprehensive listing of legislation sponsored by me, with the exception of clerk files.
- A "council bill" refers to legislation that is in the process of becoming a law, but has not been voted on by the Full Council yet.
- An "ordinance" is a bill that has been passed by the full City Council and is a binding law.
- A "resolution" is a statement of policy that has been passed by the City Council, but is not legally binding.
- A "clerk file" is a piece of legislation that generally does not require a sponsor and is used for appointments to city boards and commissions, certain land use-related measures, and other functions. Clerk files do not represent statements of policy and have been left off this listing because they are so numerous.
