Queen Avenue North and Roy - there is NO GOOD CROSSING at this site. I am sighted and it scares me to death. But my friend Ann lost her sight, she is a retired librarian. And for her to try to cross any of this, would be flirting with death. People in cars tend to be very aggressive at this corner - and a person trying to cross any of these crossways - with the light - appropriately is in danger. I don't know what the deal is. But drivers at this corner, driving from any direction, tend to disregard pedestrians as if they were invisible. The manager of the Queensburough says that people call it suicide corner. It is a very important crossing to get to the business district from West Olympic . Although we looked at the stairs and it would work . Still that corner is important getting to drugstore and Metro.
