Intersection of 9th and Thomas, in South Lake Union, map

Respondent #33, 6/20/13

This photo was taken today, but this type of accident occurs about every other week here at 9th and Thomas.  We work at the old Jones Soda building, and cringe every time we hear car tires screeching across the pavement.

We've helped people in shock, coming out of their cars where the airbags have been deployed. We've stood by to help people on their phones, in desperation, for hours, waiting for help to arrive.
In addition, cyclists have no clear east/west route from Dexter to Westlake.  It's only a matter of time before a cyclist gets critically injured.
