Councilmember Bruce Harrell has spent a lot of time at the Seattle Center; especially during his years as the starting middle linebacker at Garfield High School. In 1975, Councilmember Harrell was on the field at Memorial Stadium for the Metro League championship between Garfield High School and Blanchet High School, dubbed "the Greatest Game of the Century" by local sports media.
