First Hill Streetcar Project

Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. (SWI) is the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for the First Hill Streetcar project. This project will be constructed for Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT). SWI will be seeking sealed Subcontractor bids for various portions of the work which will be competitively bid with public bid openings in accordance with RCW 39.10.380.

On February 28, 2012, SWI and SDOT held a community open house.  SWI and SDOT thank all those firms that were in attendance.  Another community open house was held on March 7th, 2012 at Silver Cloud Inn (1100 Broadway Avenue) from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  In additional to community open houses, there will be WMBE open houses for most of the anticipated bid packages. 

Firms that are interested in this project are encouraged to attend the project and WMBE open houses.  Attendance is mandatory for 1st tier bidders only.  For more information regarding the upcoming open houses, feel free to contact Huan Hoang, Project Engineer at hhoang@stacywitbeck.com or Tony Johnson at Tony.Johnson@johnconcon.com.

Project Status

SWI has currently awarded 9 bid packages to date with packages remaining to bid, BP#11 Pavement Markings, BP#12 Landscaping and BP#13 Signage. WMBE participation goals achieved to date are available here.
