City Purchasing and Contracting Services
Contracting - Public Works
The City has centralized construction contracting within City Purchasing and Contracting Services. Our office provides the rules, policies, process and directions, as well as manages bidding and contracting process. If you have questions, please contact Aleanna Kondelis at 206-684-4542, Maura Donoghue at 206-684-0386, or Director Nancy Locke at 206-684-8903.
Public works projects are advertised in the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce and online at eBid.
Obtaining Bid Documents
eBid provides online distribution of construction bid documents for public works projects. The official plan holders list includes only those bidders who download directly from the Web site. Addenda and project information will only be sent to official plan holders.
City Policies, Guidelines and Templates
City Purchasing and Contracting Services issues policies, guidelines, and boilerplates to City departments for all City bid and contract responsibilities. These are internal documents; they benefit and instruct departments about expected apporaches, responsibilities, and decision points. These are subject to change at any time. If you have questions, please contact Aleanna Kondelis at 206-684-4542, Maura Donoghue at 206-684-0386, or Director Nancy Locke at 206-684-8903.
