Community Partners

The CPC partnered with community-based organizations to conduct outreach and encourage public engagement in the CPC process. In August 2013, the CPC issued a request for proposals and awarded grants to 13 community partners to conduct outreach in October to targeted groups, inform them of the CPC's role in the outreach process, collect information about specific recommendations and options for reform, and report the results of their outreach activities. In some cases, two or more community organizations formed a team and shared the outreach work. Community partners also coordinated with other organizations.
