The Colman Neighborhood Association welcomes you! If you would like to meet your neighbors, weigh in on an advocacy issue, or just plant some trees, whatever your level of interest or expertise, you are a neighbor and we want to meet you!

Here are some ways you can get involved and make a difference….

• Beautify! Join or help out the Beautification Committee.
• Create an event!  If you have an idea for a community building event but you need help and inspiration, you can contact the appropriate committee chair or just come to the next CNA meeting – they happen every 1st Tuesday of the month – and introduce yourself and your idea. We’re a friendly crowd and welcome new ideas and energy.
• Start or join a committee.  You can join a committee simply by contacting a committee chair and asking for the date of their next meeting. If you’d like to form a committee or pitch an event, contact megolsen@earthlink.net or gvreamer@aol.com to be added to the agenda of one of the quarterly neighborhood-wide CNA meetings. You’ll meet lots of new neighbors and your idea will go out to the whole organization via the meeting minutes.
• You can pitch an idea using CNAchat@talk.seattle.gov. This list serv reaches 120 members of the CNA. You must be subscribed to post to this listserv. To subscribe, email gvreamer@aol.com.
• Attend or Volunteer at an event.  We can never have too many volunteers or attendees. Please contact the committee chair anytime you wish to participant in an event that looks interesting to you.
• Donate to the CNA.  We are not a 501(c)3 organization, so your donation is not tax deductible. We do, however, still appreciate and accept your donations! We have a fiscal sponsor, the Seattle Neighborhood Group, that administers our finances, so we CAN take donations. Currently we are “saving” for coffee urns, 6’ portable tables and portable platforms/stages. To make a donation by check, make it out to the Seattle Neighborhood Group and send it to
