OCR training session

The Seattle Office for Civil Rights offers training and technical assistance on civil rights laws and regulations, free of charge to residents and organizations based in Seattle.

Here are our latest offerings:

  • Fair Chance Housing Workshop
    June 20, 2018, 1 -3 p.m., Seattle City Hall (Bertha Knight Landes room) 

    On February 19, 2018, the Seattle Office for Civil Rights began enforcement of the Fair Chance Housing Ordinance which prevents landlords from denying applicants housing based on their criminal history. In this free workshop, the Seattle Office for Civil Rights will explain how this law works and answer your questions. Additionally, there will be a fair housing overview and a refresher on alternative source of income. This workshop is designed for a general audience. Click here to register.
