City Boards and Commissions
The City Council and Mayor appoint residents of Seattle to over 60 boards and commissions, allowing them to contribute to and influence decisions affecting the city, providing advice and feedback on a gamut of issues from human services to land use to bicycles to civil rights.

Appointment Registry Reports
The City Clerk maintains a registry of Council and Mayoral appointments to boards, commissions, advisory councils, public development authorities, review panels and other constituent committees, as required by Ordinance 124007. This registry also details City Department head and Office head positions, which are filled by appointment.
