City Boards and Commissions

The City Council and Mayor appoint residents of Seattle to over 60 boards and commissions, allowing them to contribute to and influence decisions affecting the city, providing advice and feedback on a gamut of issues from human services to land use to bicycles to civil rights. Boards and Commissions Registry

The City Clerk maintains a registry of appointments to Council- and Mayor-appointed Department Head positions, as well as to boards, commissions, advisory councils, public development authorities, review panels and other consistuent committees, as required by Ordinance 124007.
