Below please find answers to questions received prior to June 16, 2006.

Question: Will there be any public money?

Answer: It depends on what the partnership proposal is.

Question: If a partner comes in and wants to use the City’s facilities (e.g., poles), will the City charge rent?

Answer: A partner will be treated like any other user of the poles.

Question: Will the names of the submitters be published?

Answer: If the City receives a request, it is obligated under Public Disclosure laws to comply.

Question: If a provider does the whole system and does not wish to open up the system, would that be acceptable?

Answer: The City’s preference is to have an open system. However, a respondent may have compelling reasons for a closed system. Please address this in your response.

Question: Can the City provide the list of firms who have requested a copy of the RFI?

Answer: The City is unable to determine who may have downloaded the RFI from the City’s website.

Question: We expect our response to be no more than 3 pages. Does the City still want the response placed in three-ring binders?

Answer: Yes.
