Today residential gigabit broadband internet service is available to most Seattle households, making Seattle one of the most gigabit-ready cities in the country. Gigabit service is available from internet service providers (ISPs) Lumen, Comcast and Astound Broadband (formerly Wave). Seattle also has three ISPs that offer gigabit service to apartment and condominium buildings (multi-dwelling unit buildings). Those ISPs are Atlas Networks, Astound Broadband (formerly WaveG)and Google Fiber Webpass.
To check the broadband (internet) service operator options at your address, you can use the FCC's interactive map. Click the following link https://broadbandmap.fcc.gov/home or on the map below.
Note: map data is provided by ISPs to the FCC on an semi-annual basis and may be subject to minor variation in current providers and broadband speeds. Providers are continually expanding their high-speed and gigabit coverage, so be sure to also check directly with the providers to see what services may be available for your home.
For apartment and condo buildings, you can also use the 'building finder tools' on ISP websites to see if a building is served.
