Black History

Black History Month is celebrated in February to acknowledge life struggles and accomplishments of African American people. Our goal is to enlighten and empower others through knowledge and understanding. It is an opportunity to reach others and establish relationships with other cultures. We invite our fellow City employees and the public to attend and participate.
