Honoring Marilyn Laigo Senour
On Feb 6, 2006 we lost a dearly
loved member of our community. Marilyn will be deeply missed and
her
contributions and healing, supportive spirit will not be forgotten.
Marilyn was a Deacon Candidate for the Episcopal Diocese of
Olympia, served on committees for racial understanding for
the local diocese, and provided anti-racism/diversity trainings
within her faith community.
Marilyns work in the community included: Filipino American National Historical
Society (FANHS), United Indians of All Tribes, Seattle Indian Services, North Seattle Youth Services,
Filipino-American Civic Employees of Seattle (FACES).
Marilyn served 30+ years in public service with the City of Seattle, most recently at
Seattle's
Department of Transportation; she also served on the city-wide
Race and Social Justice Initiative (RSJI) Core Team. We love you
Marilyn, we miss you, we'll never forget you.

Time Passes
Just as the wind blows
The sun shines everyday
The snow melts on the ground
Life is ever so mystical
-- r s j i --
You came, you stayed,
Laughed and celebrated
Life with us
And then you bid goodbye
-- r s j i --
Gone but not forgotten,
You'll always be
in our hearts
Your legacy will remain
And the memory
lingers on
Time passes.
It is time...
