The arching bent steel pipe of the Sail Armatures, which are lit from below and visible both day and night, "stand out against the sky and designate key places along the bridge." Taken together these white pipes effectively give the flyover an identity all its own while encouraging and inspiring metaphoric explorations.

The three-dimensional symmetry and location-specific relevance of these elements highlights the bridge, subtly enhancing the user's experience through art.
