Thick rope and tire treads form a relief on the cast concrete panels of the Wave Wall. These panels are then repeated and turned, creating a pattern that simultaneously evokes sinuously curving waves and the helix of genetic material, alluding to the nearby large biotechnology firm, Amgen.
