To refer to the Meadowbrook community's rural farming heritage, artists Mark Calderon and Beliz Brother created Weather Prophet, a weathervane for the roof of the community center. The piece is both decorative and functional, incorporating a maple leaf and the initials of the Meadowbrook Community Center into its design. It is topped by a blue heron, an image selected by area residents as an appropriate symbol for the center.
