The informal gathering will follow the March Seattle Arts Commission meeting, at which Carri and Pamela will be guest speakers.

O'Asian Kitchen
800 5th Ave. at Columbia

Pamela Ivezic is the first member of the new district arts leadership team. Carri Campbell is recruiting the team under the Arts Education Partnership Initiative launched this year by the city of Seattle and Seattle Public Schools. Pamela has worked with students and faculty in the field of music education for the past two decades. Her teaching experience spans elementary through college, with particular emphasis on vocal and general music education, music teacher education, and curriculum development. She holds a bachelor's degree in music education, a master of music in vocal performance and a Ph.D. in musicology. In her new capacity, she will assist Carri with strategies to increase and broaden music education and provide direct support to music programs district-wide.

With support from the AEP Initiative, Carri will hire an additional team member this spring. The position will include a strong focus on developing and making the most of community connections and arts partnerships. When the position opens, we'll announce it in this bulletin and post it on our Web site.
