The 16-member Seattle Arts Commission, citizen volunteers appointed by the mayor and City Council, supports the city agency. Commission members include artists, arts professionals and other citizens with diverse backgrounds and strong links to Seattle's arts community. The mayor appoints seven of the commissioners; the City Council appoints seven, and a 15th member is selected by those 14. An additional commissioner is selected through the YMCA's "Get Engaged" program.

Jon Rosen, Chair
Jon Rosen is an employment lawyer in practice as The Rosen Law Firm. He serves on the boards of directors of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Music of Remembrance and Jewish Family Services. He is a past president of Temple De Hirsch Sinai.
Fidelma McGinn, Vice Chair
Fidelma McGinn is the vice president of philanthropic services at The Seattle Foundation, one of the nation's largest community foundations for charitable giving. She was formerly the executive director of Artist Trust, a statewide organization dedicated to supporting artists in all creative disciplines with grants, resources and professional development training. She also serves on the board of the Washington State Arts Alliance.
Jeff Benesi
Jeff Benesi has more than 30 years of experience as a landscape and urban designer and works at Mithun. His portfolio includes housing authority redevelopment, parks and streetscape design, transit-oriented development and large-scale master planning projects.
Lara Davis
In addition to overseeing program development and community partnerships for Arts Corps, Lara Davis co-leads the organization's outreach and advancement work, which is dedicated to stewarding Arts Corps's anti-oppression/racial justice agenda.
Diana Falchuk
Artist, educator and arts administrator, Diana Falchuk is the founder and former director of Hilltop Artists' Arts Connect program, an arts-based intervention for court-involved girls that she established in 2004. She is an advisor to Hilltop Artists and other arts intervention programs throughout the country and is pursuing her Master's in Social Work at the University of Washington.
Terri Hiroshima
Terri Hiroshima has worked in Seattle's non-profit sector for more than 18 years. She is currently Vice President of Communications at Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, the largest and most diverse business association in the Puget Sound region. Terri was formerly the Director of Marketing & External Relations at Crosscut Public Media, a civics-based online news outlet that focuses on in-depth coverage of Northwest issues. Her background in the arts includes marketing and communications roles at Seattle Theatre Group, Empty Space Theatre and One Reel. She holds a BS in Public Relations from Boston University and has completed Seattle's Leadership Tomorrow program.
Sandra D. Jackson-Dumont
Sandra D. Jackson-Dumont is the Kayla Skinner Deputy Director for Education and Public Programs /adjunct curator in the Modern and Contemporary Art Department at the Seattle Art Museum. She oversees the curation of experiences for the museum's collection and exhibitions that engage broad audiences through the development, implementation and promotion of a diverse platform of innovative educational, film and public programming. Jackson-Dumont is also an independent writer/curator/cultural producer.
Perri Lynch
Perri Lynch is an artist working with combined techniques in sound, light, sculpture and image. Her studio practice and public artworks explore the relationship between human perception and sense of place.
Estevan Munoz-Howard
Estevan Munoz-Howard is the development director for Social Justice Fund NW, a member-based foundation that funds grassroots social change projects in five states. Previously, he was executive director of the Youth Media Institute (YMI), a nonprofit organization that uses media to foster critical thinking and civic engagement among young people in Southwest Seattle.
Billy O'Neill
Billy O'Neill is vice president of Chihuly Studio. He currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Seattle International Film Festival and Advisory Boards for the Seattle Sounders and The Vera Project.
David Sabee
Winner of the 2011 Grammy Award for Best Engineered Classical Album, David Sabee has been a member of the Seattle Symphony since 1986, touring with Seattle Chamber Players and recording with popular artists including Dave Matthews. Founder of Seattlemusic Inc., he has contracted, conducted and produced soundtrack sessions for hundreds of motion pictures.
Gian-Carlo Scandiuzzi
Carlo Scandiuzzi has been the executive director of ACT - A Contemporary Theatre since 2008. He first joined ACT in 2007 to oversee its Central Heating Lab initiative, nurturing and supporting new works, new talent and local artists spanning all art forms. He is a founder of Agate Films, Clear Pictures and film distribution company Indieflix.
Michael Seiwerath
Michael Seiwerath is the founding executive director of the Capitol Hill Housing Foundation. Overseeing the fundraising and communications work for Capitol Hill Housing, he has been involved with issues of preserving and expanding affordable arts space in Seattle for 15 years. He serves on the 4Culture Real Estate Task Force.
Huong Vu
Huong Vu manages the Pacific Northwest region's arts, culture and civic grants portfolio for The Boeing Company. Previously, she was the senior arts program officer at The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, guest curator at On the Boards, and director of grants programs at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters. She currently serves on the Grantmakers in the Arts board of directors.

Philmon Haile
Philmon Haile, now a junior in college, was born in Sudan. His parents were both soldiers in the Eritrean War of Independence and sought refuge in the United States, where they moved when Haile was three. He started his undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College and recently transferred to the University of Washington where he is studying International Studies and Anthropology with a concentration in China studies. He is passionate about equal access to education.
