Seattle Animal Shelter Virtual Tour

Small Animal Holding

There are almost always hamsters, gerbils, mice, guinea pigs and chinchillas available for adoption. Check our website for the most recent list of who’s available.

We get iguanas and turtles quite often and the occasional snake, too. Keep an eye out for our birds, some very nice species are available sporadically throughout the year.

Our most common critters are the bunnies. Bunnies make great housepets. They can be litterbox trained and socialized to be part of the family. They have very individual personalities if you get to know them. And, it’s fun to pet their soft fur.
