Dog Isloation

Sometimes a dog may be sick at the shelter and need to be kept separate from the main kennel area. There are four kennels for this purpose, which usually feature classical music for their listening pleasure.

Our foster dog program provides care for many of the sick and injured dogs that come into the shelter. Foster parents take them into their homes and provide the care, rehabilitation and training needed. The Help the Animals Fund covers veterinary expenses when an animal is brought to the shelter suffering from injury, malnutrition, upper respiratory ailment, or other illnesses.
