Be a hero.  Save a life!  Fostering can be an excellent family project.  It is an intense, short-term commitment.  If your lifestyle does not permit you to have an animal full time, here is a rewarding opportunity for you.

Volunteer Opportunities

Seattle Animal Shelter volunteers work 365 days a year and are hard working and extremely dedicated.  Shelter volunteers are required to attend on-going training. This is one of the few successful animal shelter volunteer programs in the nation. We are proactive in the community and have been recognized for our accomplishments at the City and State level.
