Public Meetings:

January 2011

A public open house was held on January 19 at the Seattle Aquarium to share ideas about where the replacement seawall could be located.

September 2010

A walking tour was held to orient interested parties to existing conditions of the seawall and gather input on potential opportunities.

June 2010

A public scoping meeting was held on June 16, 2010, and included a presentation of the following topics:

  • Project need and schedule
  • Possible structural elements, habitat opportunities, and alignments
  • Coordination with other area projects, including the City’s central waterfront plan
