Green Lake Park
Green Lake Park is located in north central Seattle. The large lake is surrounded by a 2.8 mile path for runners, bikers, skaters and walkers. Swimming, fishing and boating are all popular lake activities, with a Small Craft Center offering classes in rowing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing, and a private company offering rentals for paddle boats, row boats and canoes.
The Green Lake Bathhouse Theatre offers year-round events from Seattle Public Theatre. The Green Lake Pitch and Putt offers 9 holes of golf. In the summer, Green Lake is the host of the Seafair Milk Carton Derby, and the Pathway of Lights luminaria event in the winter.
